IAN WHITCOMB. One-hit wonder of the 1960s rock 'n roll scene. Historian of American and British popular music from the 1890s to 1960s. Chronicler of the rock 'n roll music scene in 1960s Southern California.

In 92 full-hour+ radio broadcasts from 2010-2012, Ian holds forth on the social and artistic forces that shaped popular music in the 20th Century, and plays records from his extensive collection of discs to provide delightful examples of the musical history he so ethusiastically describes.

Ably assisted by loyal audio engineer Barry Funkhouser, and the occasional special guest.
